The service often depends on how well staffed they are. It can be extremely slow at times. It is definitely worth booking too as it is very popular.
The ale selection is poor and sometimes they don't have any on at all (and they don't seem to care much about that). A standard selection of lager, cider and wine is on offer. The decor is rediculous in places, but probably worth visiting to witness.
When we first started going there were some great pizza options on the menu, which have now all disappeared. They made a great fallback because what's left is mostly pushing towards £20. Food is generally good though, better than it's sister The Wicked Lady down the road.
